night comes again

everyone in the city seems to be headed somewhere. isn't that just exciting?

it was like a rainbow..............

without the colors.............
today this stretched across the sky like a rainbow...........
i didn't have my regular camera, just my cell phone camera.......
not quick enough to get a panoramic shot, so use the imagination...........

clearing the mind..........

days away from life, away from work, home, the phone, the everyday routine of living.........

i want to sit here and soak it in, but i know someone is waiting, someone is impatient, someone wonders why did i go.....................

so i enjoy it for a while, reluctantly getting up and taking a step, one step of many that will slowly bring me back to where i began this journey, the journey to get away..........

after not being out west in so long i had forgotten the skies can be pure blue, making the contrast so vivid.
